Calm Waterfall Screensaver is a simple and free animated application to decorate your desktop with a relaxing landscape. The screensaver shows the beauty of a waterfall, surrounded by an idyllic landscape, where we can listen to the sounds of nature. It also includes a small analogical clock. The most interesting feature of the application, is that you can select your favorite music, create a playlist with your songs, or choose single MP3 files to be played along with the screensaver. On the other hand, you can define some of its settings, like the DirectX quality, image size, animation speed and the position of the clock on the screen. It requires minimal system resources; Windows 2000/XP and Vista, and DirectX 7+. The problem with this application, is that in order to use the screensaver, you are forced to install a tool bar by ScreenSavers2K.com on your default web browser, otherwise it will not work. So, if you are willing to install an extra application, download it, the screensaver is nice. If not, keep on searching, after all, there are plenty of free and adware-free screensavers on the web. |
